I hear it a lot, “Don’t judge me!” or “don’t judge me for the splinter in my eye!” or “judge not least ye be judged!”

But is it Biblical? The answer is no.

Let’s look at the biggest one people point to in the Bible to try and justify to others that they shouldn’t judge:

Judge not, that ye be not judged.
Matthew 7:1

I mean, that looks pretty damning but the trick here is people only quote verse 1. Have a look at verse 2:

For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.
Matthew 7:2

If I run around casting judgement on people because of their skin color, their gender, their nationality, their political affiliation, and such, I’m in big trouble with God. You see, it says for the measure you use will be used to judge you. In the case that I run around judging people on non-Biblical measures, means God is going to judge me on the same non-Biblical measures. That’s a bad thing for me, because I am a sinner and for me to gain any salvation whatsoever I must be judged on the Bible. But if I use the Bible to judge someone, that means the Bible is used to Judge me – and I’m 100% okay with that.

That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
Romans 10:9

The Bible says I’m saved, that my judgement is in the Blood of Jesus Christ. Thus I will judge people based on the measure of the Bible in and doing so point out their sin and make it clear that they need Jesus Christ.

But some Christians and pastors out there will tell you that this was not the real meaning that you should just follow your heart and keep quiet when you see sin. It simply doesn’t add up – it never does. Imagine for a moment you saw someone you didn’t even know walking down the street and as they walk past you see their coat tail on fire and the fire spreading up their back. What would you do? Would you shout, “Hey buddy! Your coat is on fire! You’re going to get burned!”

Or, perhaps, would you attempt to put out that fire yourself? Some would. Throughout the ministry of Jesus Christ the constant theme impressed upon us is the emphatic point that this life is very temporary and the next life is very eternal. Thus He took great strides to teach us to think about the enteral and not the carnal. In essence, Jesus taught us to keep our eyes on the prize – an eternity in Heaven with Him.

The point is, if you love someone enough to warn someone that their temporary body is in danger because it is on fire, why wouldn’t you warn them about their eternal soul being on fire? That is why I submit that it is an act of selfishness to not warn someone that they are living in sin and that their soul is in danger. If you’re afraid the person will get angry with you, you are allowing your own selfishness and pride to get into the way of the Great Commission:

Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world.
Matthew 28:18-20

And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.
Mark 16:15-16

Therefor, it is not only a sin of pride to not judge someone on the Bible, it is absolute disobedience to Jesus Christ to neglect His Great Commission. But more importantly, to not judge someone on the Bible is judgement in of itself – acceptance. The worst judgement you can give is that sin is okay by merely saying nothing at all when you see someone living in sin. It is an act of hate to watch someone’s immortal soul in danger and to simply say nothing at all.

“Yeah, but Mike; you just said you were a sinner, how does being saved make you different from the guy with the burning coat tail?”

The difference is that I don’t like to sin. Ever since I was saved, sinning causes quite a bit of anguish in my heart and I’ll sometimes even lose sleep over it. I’m not happy with my own sin, even the sin that I do on a regular basis sometimes like cussing (which has gotten a LOT better over the past few years). And therein lies the difference. Many Bible-Believing Christians say this is the Holy Spirit “gettin’ ahold of you” and I believe it. The truth is, I’m improving on a daily basis because I’m unhappy with my sinful nature. A sheep that falls occasionally in the mud is far different from a pig that loves to wallow in it.

As some in my group are aware, I’ve been a fan of Bushmaster AR-15’s for quite some time. For the longest time you couldn’t argue with the fact that they just worked right out of the box. However, it wasn’t that great for customization.

Bushmaster was shut down over the courts allowing people to sue gun manufacturers which became apparent when I stripped the extractor in my Bushmaster.

Stripped Extractor in a Bushmaster Bolt Carrier and Bolt.

I had to find another quality brand and someone told me to give Anderson a shot. I did and its been 4 months now and I have yet to be disappointed with Anderson. Anderson brand is made in Kentucky and reasonably priced, especially considering every part comes with a life-time warranty.

New Anderson 16″ AR-15 Floating Barrel Build

Of course, I did go all out getting a Sig Sauer Romeo RTS Red Dot optic, Sig Sauer 3x Flip-out Maginifier, Sig Sauer laser/light system, with every other part either being Anderson or Magpul. The stock/buffer, mags, foregrip, backup sights, and handle are all Magpul brand.

This has resulted in a very epic weapon system that shoots very smoothly even 1,000 rounds later, and she’s deadly accurate.

Sig Sauer P290RS – “Corona”

As far as a name goes, the jury is out. However, I did pick up a sidearm, Sig Sauer P290 RS with the Corona Stimulus – which I have named “Corona”.

We hear a lot of people tell us there are “moderate Muslims” and “Islamic Extremists”.

But what is the difference, ideologically speaking? The short answer is, nothing. Both believe in the same things, but the extremist is simply the one that acts on what they believe.

You have to understand a few things about Islam to fully grasp the facts of what I just stated and how wrong it is to call any Muslim “moderate” and how that can even be an insult to a practicing Muslim.

Firstly, you need to know that Islam respects the God of Abraham as the “one true God”, the same as Judaism does, the same as Christianity does. What’s the difference?

Well, as we all know Judaism came first. Essentially the religion was created by Moses or at least put on stone by him. Moses is responsible for most of the writings in the Torah and the Old Testament in the Holy Bible. Then Jesus came along and his followers and disciples added the New Testament and gave us Christianity. But then, a fellow named Muhammad came along, a pedophile, rapist, and brutal dictator and warlord and created the Qur’on.

Whereas Jesus Christ taught his followers to offer forgiveness to their trespassers and to turn the other cheek, Muhammad taught his followers to be vengeful, dominate the world through force and guerrilla warfare.

Muslims believe in both the Old Testament and the New Testament. They even believe that Jesus Christ was a messiah, but much like Christians believe that Jesus came to set the record straight, Muslims believe that Muhammad did the same thing AFTER Jesus Christ did, therefor, Muhammad’s very radical words is final.

So, what is a Moderate Muslim? Well, the only way you can be a Moderate Muslim is if you don’t practice or believe in the radical teachings of Muhammad, and that makes you a Christian.

As some in North Carolina are aware from recent news reports, the North Carolina General Assembly just banned Sharia Law for GOOD in North Carolina by disallowing any interference from “foreign laws and courts” into North Carolina Courts. And I couldn’t be happier.

What is Sharia Law?

Sharia Law is a composite of laws that were composed by Muhammed in order to control the population during Muhammed’s time and force compliance with his teachings. That needs to be said once more for emphasis, to force compliance. Sharia, in Arabic, means “The Only Way“.

Sharia law includes many barbaric punishments for simple and minor crimes. Theft for instance is punishable by amputation of the hands. Lying is punishable by amputation of the tongue.

Sharia Law and the United States are intrinsically incompatible. It goes without saying that the fraction of punishments I just listed are certainly considered “Cruel and Unusual” punishments in direct contradiction to our 8th Amendment in the Bill of Rights, but women are considered to be subhuman and does not possess the same rights as males. In fact, she must provide multiple witnesses if she claims to have been raped and if she makes this claim and has one of the witnesses recant, she is subject to be stoned to death for infidelity.

Sharia Law does not mandate due process, therefore anyone can enforce it, such as a jealous brother, vengeful father, or a coveting neighbor. There is no justice in Sharia Law, only vengeance which is what our constitution specifically prohibits.

Therefor, it is a good thing the state of North Carolina has outright banned Sharia Law. Perhaps it should be done at the Federal level as well.

It is true, no matter how tough of a pill it is to swallow, Islam is a descendant of Christianity. The separation between the two religions fundamentally is differentiated by which recognizes as being the last messiah. We Christians believe Jesus Christ was the one and only Messiah and Islam believes there were many, the last of which was Muhammed.

No one can deny that there was some crazy shit in the Old Testament, God instructing people to kill people, commit adultery, and even steal. But that can’t be right because of the Ten Commandments, right? No, it is. You see, the priests of this time could take liberties with the Bible and they would often change or make exceptions to certain rules when it became convenient for them. But then something super-human really did happen. This guy, with a huge following of people documenting his life, came in, uncorrupted and gave the real teachings of God. He taught us to love our neighbors, turn the other cheek, forgive, and use violence only as a last resort for survival.

In contrast, Muhammed taught entirely the opposite. He preached that anyone who believed differently than his followers were to be executed. He taught that you were to seek vengeance and retribution for transgressions and even taught his followers to preempt certain actions and to lie, cheat, and steal where necessary to promote Islam. This is the crossroads at which two fundamentally similar religions became such fundamental enemies.

While Islam is inherently a vile system of beliefs; you must remember that it is still partially based on Christianity.
